9th Founding Anniversary

The week-long celebration of the 9th Founding Anniversary of South SEED-LPDH College (SSLC) on February 17-21, 2020 was full of reminiscence of the early years of the college. With the theme, “Gearing towards a Decade of Academic Excellence,” the celebration was capped by the College Night on February 21, 2020 attended by the key officers of SSLC, Southville International School and Colleges (SISC) and Las Piñas Doctors Hospital (LPDH), SSLC students, alumni, faculty, and staff.
The Opening Day started with the blessing of the facilities by Fr. Mariel A. Sarez, and the opening program that featured the awarding of student achievers during the first semester. The Dean’s List

INSTITUTIONAL AWARD was given to the College of Pharmacy for achieving a 100% passing rate in the Board Exams.
The students enjoyed a day of sports games during the Intramurals. Besides the usual Volleyball, Basketball, and badminton, board games (Chess and Scrabble), the students learned to play Filipino games such as sungka. Included in the games was Mobile Legends managed by the MIS headed by Mr. Mark Jonathan Salibio, head of MIS. Winners were given medals and trophies.
The theme of the College Night was Retro and all the students and faculty wore retro attire. Featured activities were the retro dance competition among the employees and students and the selection of the Mr. And Ms. Face of the Night (Faculty and students), Best Dressed, and Star Performers. Dr. Sharon Callejo, Chairman of the SSLC Board of Directors and Engr. Lawrence Dulawan head of the SISC Admin pinned the sashes of the winners.
