Southville International Institute of Medical Health Sciences (SIIMHS) is proud to announce that our student pharmacy interns have officially commenced their industrial pharmacy training at Cherard Cosmetic Laboratory. This milestone marks the start of their 300-hour industrial pharmacy rotation, a key component of their professional formation.
The interns were warmly welcomed with an exclusive behind-the-scenes plant tour and orientation personally led by Cherard Cosmetic Laboratory’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Richard Michael P. Guerrero. The visit provided valuable insight into the inner workings of a cosmetic manufacturing facility, from research and formulation to production and quality control.
Throughout this rotation, our future pharmacists will be immersed in real-world industry practices, gaining hands-on exposure to complex formulation processes, stringent quality assurance standards, and innovative cosmetic product development. This experience allows students to bridge academic theory with practical application, preparing them for diverse career paths within the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.
