SIMHSI College of Pharmacy Embraces the Future of AI-Driven Healthcare

The Southville International Medical Health Sciences Institute (SIMHSI), College of Pharmacy continues to stay ahead of the curve as its faculty members participated in the special lecture, “Reshaping Pharmacy Education and Practice in the World of AI.” The event was held during PharmaX 2025, hosted by McGraw Hill in partnership with the Mapúa University School of Health Science, Pharmacy Program.

The lecture was led by Michael Weitz, Global Publisher of McGraw Hill, who delivered an engaging and insightful discussion on the rapidly growing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in transforming pharmacy education, patient care, and professional practice. His talk highlighted how technological advancements are reshaping the competencies needed by future pharmacistunderscoring the importance of adaptability, digital literacy, and innovative thinking.
