The Medical Laboratory Science Students of South SEED-LPDH College (SSLC) attended  the First Virtual

South East MLT Conference with the theme “ Call for Action on the Student C犀利士
ollaboration Across Nations” last January 16-17, 2021.As a member of the ASEAN Association of Schools of Medical Technology (AASMT), SSLC was able to Field two delegates and five participants representing all year levels of the College of Medical Technology of SSLC. They participated in an open forum together with representatives from other ASEAN Medical Technology schools. They discussed current issues in the Medical Laboratory Technology Program,  the importance of collaboration in facing global competition, and the need for having MLT Student Association in South East Asia.

Loewel Cher Rico, 3rd Year Representative and the head of the SSLC delegation, said the ASEAN conference for MLT Students allowed her to meet students from other countries and learned the current issues in medical laboratory technology education. Mr. Jimmu Mediavillo and Mr. Felix John Paul Barqueros, Dean and Coordinator, respectively also attended the conference.
