SSLC: Top 4 in the PHISMETS Laboratory Olympics 2020
South SEED-LPDH College (SSLC) contestants ranked 4 at the annual competition conducted by The National Board of Philippine Society of Medical Technology Students (PHISMETS) Organization on March 7 at the AFP Theatre, Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City. The competition was participated in by students of Med Tech from all over the country.
The students were accompanied by the Med Tech Dean, Mr. Jimmu Mediavillo, Mr. Felix Barqueros, Mr. Anthony Bragais, and Ms. Candy Rose Sundian.
The scope of the questions were: Hematology, Hispatology, Clinical Microscopy & Parasitology.
Tan and Clemente copped 3rd place in Microscopy
Representatives from SSLC, Ms. Nalla Tan & Mr. Mark Anthony Clemente bagged the 3rd place for the Clinical Microscopy.
Among the other activities are Dance Competitions where the SSLC South Movers participated in, the Mr. and Ms PHISMETS, which SSLC won last academic year.
There are 3 Categories during the pageant, formal wear, casual wear and the theme wear. All candidates are dressed up with glamorous outfits to slay everyone. Now for the awarding moment, Ms. Caldoza won the Social Media Choice Awards. Special thanks to her supportive professors, friends and schoolmates who helped her during her journey.
Overall, South SEED-LPDH College ranked TOP 4 in the Over All Ranking in the PASMETH National Laboratory Olympics out of 41 Medical Technology School. This only proves that SSLC continues to create a great legacy.
